— In Arrowhead Pines, Phoebe Coffey is one of the people that fades into the background. She has a normal blue collar family, her Mother runs the local thrift store, her brother is out of town and her fate to continue her mother's business is pratically written in stone.

... But this isn't a fate that she wants, nor thinks she deserves or earned.

She doesn't want the mundane, the boring and the not-scary, she has a fascination for horror tropes, terrifying movies and morbid stories since she was nine. And all she wants is to be choosen, to be something that isn't human.
