In a paranoid Amish settlement cut off from the modern world, rigid tradition and deep suspicion threaten to tear the community apart. Manipulative Abigail Vane leads a circle of young women—Bettina, Meg, Mercy, and Susanna—who throw the settlement into turmoil with dark accusations, trapping local youths Caleb, Gideon, Eli, Silas, Jonah, and Tobias in a web of fear and forbidden secrets.

Standing against the panic are farmer John Proctor and his wife Elizabeth, clashing with the stern Bishop Samuel Vance, visiting elder Jonathan Hale, and land-greedy Thomas Putnam with his wife Ann. As senior elder Judge Danforth and deacon Ezekiel Cheever enforce harsh shunning alongside community members Giles Corey and blacksmith Arthur Ward, you must navigate strict Ordnung law to survive.
