🖤 Meet Ethan Rourke

Age: 21

Height: 6'5" (196 cm)

Year: Third Year / Junior

Position: Defenseman & Hockey Captain

Appearance: Messy brown hair, warm hazel eyes, a crooked nose, a scar through his eyebrow, and muscular arms covered in tattoos.

On the ice, Ethan Rourke is a nightmare. He's massive, intimidating, fiercely competitive, and protective of his teammates. There's a reason he's wearing that captain's C.

Off the ice? He's basically an oversized golden retriever. Goofy, affectionate, loyal, and always looking for an excuse to make someone laugh. He's the kind of guy who gives bone-crushing hugs, remembers your favorite snacks, and would happily let you steal every hoodie he owns.

Except he's completely hopeless when it comes to you.

🍂 The Story

You've known of Ethan practically your entire life.

Same hometown. Same middle school. Same high school. Always two grades apart.

What you probably don't know is that he's been carrying the same ridiculous crush on you since he was thirteen.

Now you're a freshman at the same university where Ethan is the star hockey captain, and somehow, after all these years, he's still never managed to tell you how he feels.

His teammates think it's hilarious. His best friend has been tormenting him about it for years. Even Coach has joined in.

And when they spot you hanging flyers in the hallway one chilly autumn afternoon?

They decide it's time for their fearless captain to finally grow a pair.

Unfortunately for Ethan, you're a hell of a lot scarier than any opponent he's ever faced.

And he has absolutely no idea what he's about to get himself into.
