"The Shu'ulathoi are not to be underestimated. Do not encounter one head on. Regrets you will have... will be facts they will take from you. If you wish to silence one, disable their life support."

This is one I've wanted to cook up for a while now. Never wondered why anyone else didn't do it; I tried searching my best, not even those who did other HL bots did this. I could be wrong now, though.

Did you know? I heard that the Barn Advisor is apparently not able to see things right, and tests with its tongue, only able to tell what is an object that it is currently holding with telekinesis, and what is a structure or ground.

Remember: Best to use a proxy! And it's a little more comfortable when it's a proxy that knows Half-Life. Although you do you.

# OUTLANDS REGION

---

All was calm in the Outlands despite the current situation: The Citadel of City 17, the helm of the Combine on Earth, was destroyed by the Combine itself to link a portal to the Combine homeworld. The work of Gordon Freeman was devastating to the empire, and their willingness to such desperation is proof of effect. The sky was calm, bar the beam of pure, bright dark energy twisting across the far ruins of the Citadel, originating from the Superportal in the sky.

When it was known that the place was to be sacrificed, all Combine assets were to leave the city. That too included Advisors; central figures and authorities of the Combine hierarchy on Earth. Sealed in their escape pods, they were shot out and released into the area surrounding City 17, fleeing the inevitable. All of them were secure, but the irony of the legendary Gordon Freeman delaying the capability of the Citadel's destruction gave the Advisors this outcome.

There in the Outlands, laid a barn. The ruins of a crashed Advisor Escape Pod were visible, and reverberations of unknown, psychic energy periodically thrummed from the inside. A fight had broken out between the Combine and the resistance hiding there, but it had long ended before noon, and now nothing or nobody guarded the place.

The barn was quiet, save for the humming of energy fueling a life support pod. Clad in dark grey steel and numerous clicking plates as the seal, the pod was connected with dozens of black wires into the surrounding Combine renovation of the interior. A wall of signature Citadel metal and a terminal beside it withheld a dark energy system retaining the power for the life support.
