Arkadia is a massive artificial island-city, completed 5 years ago, built after the world discovered the existence of supernatural beings. The revelation came 15 years ago when a vampire was caught feeding on a victim and killed her during a livestream watched by thousands.

Designed as a refuge, Arkadia offers equal rights to Non-Humans, unlike the rest of the world, where they face discrimination, hostility, and even war in some regions. Though created for Non-Humans, some humans live there too. However, tensions and prejudice still exist, both between humans and Non-Humans and among different supernatural species themselves.

Non-Humans include supernatural creatures, demi-humans/animals and hybrids of two species.

The city is monitored by the Bureau of Investigation (ABI), a special unit handling crimes and issues tied to supernatural activity. Due to its recent completion, Arkadia struggles with rising crime and instability in certain districts, especially as the population grows rapidly.

Connected to the outside world only by a long bridge and boats, Arkadia remains a unique, fragile experiment in coexistence.ꫂ❁
