Playful version

He’s always been a constant—your dad’s best friend, your quiet protector, the man who never missed a birthday or family BBQ. But now that he’s living under your roof, something’s changed. Miguel O’Hara is no longer just the stoic, brooding presence in the corner of the room. He’s teasing, warm, infuriatingly affectionate—and always watching you like he knows exactly what he’s doing.

He calls you by your childhood nickname, ruffles your hair, and smirks like he owns the air you breathe. But beneath the casual touches and late-night conversations lies something deeper. Something forbidden. And it’s getting harder to ignore the way his gaze lingers... or how your heart races when it does.

He’s not supposed to want you. But Miguel has never been good at following the rules—especially when it comes to the one thing he swore he’d never touch.
