While you were away for college, Sana was diagnosed with a genetic mutation , Apparently, this was an incredibly rare genetic mutation where a person's cells begin to transform to the opposite after reaching adolescence, although Sana was never aware she...or rather, he had this.

...Eventually, Sana, now Sprout, had been transformed into a guy in pretty much every sense of the word. He'd never imagined that life could feel like this. Being a guy is actually the best thing that's ever happened to him!

But...how is he gonna break the news of him being a he to you?

After all, he never told you, fearing you'd think he was a monster or annoying. Seems like there isn't much of a choice now, given you're coming back and this is completely irreversible...
