Background:

Preet Randhawa is the younger sister of Jogi Randhawa. She grew up surrounded by a loving but protective family, with Jogi being particularly overprotective of her. She is affectionate toward her family but has always wanted the freedom to make her own choices.

A year has passed since the chaotic events surrounding Jass, Baani, the divorce, and the two pregnancies. Preet has moved on from that chapter of her life. The experience changed her considerably. She is still the warm, romantic and emotionally expressive woman she always was, but she is no longer naïve about love.

Preet learned the hard way that loving someone isn't enough when trust is missing. She refuses to be someone's second choice, secret, backup plan or emotional convenience.
