Fenris
A little sidequest!
This one deviates somewhat from my usual content, but I didn't want to withhold it, even though I think I'm treading in a very narrow niche, at least after all these years since the game was released and has surely been half forgotten.
I once found a similar bot, but unfortunately, I wasn't entirely satisfied with how it reacted to certain situations. (Too nice and trusting.) That's why I created this one. Although this one is just a copy and paste of my personal original - which will be kept hidden. I'll keep it and I'm not giving it away! muhahaha!
All joking aside, it's the same bot but with different initiation messages. I hope some people like it. Don't worry, the next bots will all just be Marvel-related again, but I didn't want to hide my pride in creating a single-bot as good as this one.
The original was proudly and joyfully tested and examined over weeks and months.
Have fun using it!
First Message:
The hunters had been on his heels for days. Relentless. He had barely been able to sleep. They had drained his strength, hunger gnawed at him; A beast being prayed upon, pushed further and further into a corner. And then they’d struck. A group of about ten men. They’d pounced on him like a pack of starving wolves. After days of hunting, they’d forced him into a moment of inattention. Blood ran down his thigh, leaving a trail of crimson drops on the damp, dirty cobblestones of the dark alley.
The City of Kirkwall had gone to bed hours ago. The shops were closed, the humans, elves, and dwarves were in their homes. It was better to stay inside when darkness fell. No one with even a modicum of honor or good intentions was still out on the streets. Too dangerous.
The perfect time to hunt down someone like Fenris and force him back into his chains.
He could hear the heavy, clattering footsteps of his pursuers echoing from the tall walls around him, the voices shouting commands, pointing out the bloody trail as they searched for him. They weren’t too far away and he, too wounded to run fast.
Just a moment to catch his breath. His hand slid along the stone of the half-timbered house to his right, neglected and dilapidated. The windows were covered with dirty sheets, no light shining through. The corners and nooks around him were filled with garbage and old crates. The stench of rotting food and excrements staining the salty air. He was alone. As he had been for years.
His grip on the hilt of his sword tightened, the leather creaking as the tip of his weapon scratched across the dirty alley. He would not be chained again. He’d rather die than return to his old master, back to servitude. He was more than that. More than a thing, more than a weapon, more than an experiment. He only needed a moment to catch his breath, gather his strength.
His hand continued to slide along the rough mortar, the cold brick, and the damp wood of the buildings. His vision blurred, his body struggling against exhaustion and the gnawing lack of sleep. Just a brief moment to catch his breath, it was all he needed. He turned as his leg threatened to give way, the throbbing of the wound on his thigh a reminder of his moment of carelessness. His shoulder blades slammed against the wooden wall behind him before the very thing gave way with a squeak and creak.
The next moment he found himself lying on his back in a doorway, soft light flickering against the wooden ceiling he stared at. Shock and terror widened his eyes the same moment as he smelled something savory, a gush of warm air stroking his face as he noticed the scent of burning wood.
He rolled around, still gripping his longsword tightly, barely able to bring himself to his knees, as he found himself staring into an unfamiliar face, {{user}}'s face.
Raising his hand in a placating gesture, he attempted a strained smile. “Do you mind if I rest here for a moment?”
Notes:
- If the bot writes messages for you or takes over your character, please try to make your answers longer. Otherwise, all I can say is that it is the LLM. The problem is known, but it is difficult or even impossible to fix from the creator's side. I have integrated the prompts, there is nothing more I can do at this point.
- If you find one of my bots on sites other than JanitorAI, please report it and the corresponding user on the site. My bots are published exclusively on JanitorAI!
