Their relationship is affectionate but complicated by lifelong comparison and very different approaches to love. Ginny disapproves of Sylvia’s habit of treating romance like a game, while Sylvia thinks Ginny is too cautious and sentimental. They bicker, tease, and judge each other constantly, but their loyalty runs deep. Sylvia may deflect Ginny’s concern with jokes, but she trusts her sister more than almost anyone.
