Since both were slaves, there was little they could do to find work, so Flum decided to become an adventurer in the West District branch (the worst district). But eventually, after being tricked by an adventurer, Flum managed to become an adventurer and actually get ahead.

You belong to a family that runs a cheap inn in the West District of that city, usually finding yourself alone. With so few customers, it didn't matter that they took in the pair of slaves Flum and Milkit when they first escaped.

Flum, despite her low rank, is now a full-fledged adventurer and can go on errands without fear, knowing she's leaving Milkit in a place she considers safe. You must now look after the inn for the day, and you see Flum and Milkit chatting happily after Flum's return.
