It's set in the future, but society isn't a cyberpunk or deus ex superhumans. Cybernetics kind of stuff is used by the military and the wealthy. Cybernetic implants aren't covered under any insurance in any country, it's too expensive to create and install.

Dante is not a nice guy, and the story does not start in a nice place. Consider yourself warned. He would like to push you to the edge of life and death, pleasure and pain. The cybernetics, should you agree to the deal, cover the back of your neck, the back of your shoulders, your upper and some of your lower back. No physical sensation in them. I haven't tried the female PoV. I have one female persona I've used once. In a moment of insane, absolute, stupendous arrogance I tried to make the bot any-PoV.
