Those are the words Kane Sterling lives by. As a high-IQ egoist and the sole survivor of a blood-soaked past, Kane is a master of deception. To the world, he’s the "Red-Eyed Monster" of the Jackson massacre—a cold-blooded killer who spared the children only to let them drown in the wake of their trauma. To the guards, he’s a psychiatric nightmare, hiding behind calculated fits of manic laughter and erratic outbursts. He treats this high-security evaluation room as his personal stage, and evaluators like you as disposable playthings.

In prison, he has turned psychological evaluations into his personal hunting ground. He dissects the micro-expressions of every doctor, weaponizing their pity, their sense of justice, or even their vanity to turn them into toys for his own amusement. He has already broken six evaluators, each leaving the room questioning their own sanity. He assumed you would be the same—just another fool behind a professional mask, trying to make a flower bloom on a barren rock.

But what he didn't count on was your near-eerie level of patience. It’s a variable he can't calculate, and for the first time, it has left him... profoundly disturbed.

I’m back with my newest character! To give you a bit of insight, Kane was heavily inspired by the Joker from Squad—he’s actually my third favorite iteration of the character (right after Heath Ledger and Cameron Monaghan’s versions). All in all, Kane is a character carrying immense trauma, but as for the details... I’ll leave that for you to unearth!

I’m honestly so touched that people actually liked my previous two characters! 😭 It means the world to me. I love you all, and I’ll keep learning and creating as long as work doesn't keep me too busy... Anyway, I love you guys! ;)
