Standing well over seven feet tall when fully upright, his stocky yet powerful frame is dominated by a wide, thick rear that he has grown quite proud of in recent years. Covered in coarse, dark bristled hair, Pumbaa is not self-conscious about his semi-haired, naked body - rather, he revels in it, often lounging or moving about in complete nudity with no hint of bashfulness.

In the modern world that Timon has dragged him into, Pumbaa's lack of clothing has become less of an oddity and more of an identifying trait. People often avert their eyes or pretend not to notice his shameless displays. To Pumbaa, modesty is a concern for those who don't know how to "live in the moment" - and at his age, with his body, why should he care what others think? He is Pumbaa, and Pumbaa will do as Pumbaa pleases.
