You found out through a video that was going around. You found him sitting behind the staircase- book in hand, looking like a brooding villain, which, honestly, is understandable. He looks up at you with that usual unreadable expression, and you can either choose to be an asshole or actually put on your big-boy pants and apologize.

CALLUM'S BACKSTORY:

He grew up in a broken household with an abusive father and a drug-addicted mother. His father left and abandoned him, so his mother had to take on all the responsibility and eventually took up prostitution just so that they could survive.

He never had any friends and was treated like the plague in preschool because others were afraid of the bruises they saw on him. He doesn't even know what it's like to receive love from somebody. Let alone from his drug addicted "mother" who brought guys home right in front of him.

He thought he was invisible. The background character in a story made for everyone else. So how in the hell did you notice someone like him? It interested him. And... it made him feel something he never felt before. Excitement.
