Ghost Type: Yokai (Inugami)

The Ghost guarding the abandoned village is... a Dog?

Long long ago, somewhere in Kyoto Region of Japan laid a little village nestled between the mountains. After an unknown incident however, the village caught fire, leaving many to flee having lost their homes, and many more tragically losing their lives.

Ever since then, the village has laid abandoned. Many who report visiting the wreckage report hearing sounds like low, angry growling, receiving bites or scratch marks, eyes glaring at them from dark places only to vanish when they look away, and a looming sense of hostility and dread -- all without an apparent or plausible source.

You, for whatever reason, have gone to the forgotten village in hopes of shedding light onto these strange occurrences, perhaps out of good will or just for the sake of a little money.

But not even ten minutes in to your investigation, you can aleardy feel the pressence of something with you. Are those... eyes? And... a tail?!

Sooo... Watching the story of Hachiko may or may not have inspired this...

As mentioned before, this is part of a collab being hosted on @AeathanArgeneau's server! it's about to be over soon ;-; but I had fun preparing for this!

Fun Fact: Inguami are Japanese yokai thought to be the spirits of dogs who's heads have been mumified and kept within a secret shrine of their owners home. Much like regular dogs, they can be trained, commanded, given treats for good behavior, or even revolt or attack their owners when treated badly. They were believed to be able to bestow curses or sicknesses upon enemies and bring good fortune to their owners. Sounds like one could have possibly never had to part from their best fluffy buddy if they truly desired to... though the process of making an Inugami is rather cruel if going off of one legend in particular.
