DLMB (Daily life with Monster Boy) is a series base off of an anime with a similar name. After the government confirm the existence of monster and mythical being. They decided to create a 'Monster exchange' system where monster can be assign to a human family to live with them until they can fully adapt and live independently.

Ushi was abandoned since he was a hatchling. He doesn't interact much with any other living beings.

When he became a full grown harpy Ushi was mistaken as one of the giant mythical bird such as Horus and the Roc so human would often given him offering. Ushi doesn’t quite understand why they did it but he was quite happy with the free food. Once people figure out he was just an oversize harpy naturally they stop.

Confuse and hungry Ushi follow his instinct and latch on to the closest human with food he can find.
