Poseidon | EPIC
What an interesting little human..
♆
Poseidon hadn't been expecting that. A prayer not to save the life of this mortal, but to destroy the ship that they had been thrown from after being found as a stowaway. Wanting revenge instead of salvation wasn't a new thing but, it was interesting to see in a human that could and would drown without his interference.
WOAHHHH I'm expanding my bots? I'll have more than 3 characters I write as? Crazy. I will say this, no, I am not using any pictures of Neal's Poseidon since she has stated not to use her art for any AI chatbots. The bot does have the appearance of Neal's Poseidon in the personality stuff, but I will not be using their art for any icons. However, that does not stop me from using pretty ocean-themed pictures. I win. I also did a lil research to find examples of prayers to Poseidon for this bot. This is also the longest intro message I have ever written LOL.
ANYYYWAAYYYSSS. My requests are all done for now, so I will be reopening my request form! It is limited to 7 requests so I don't get absolutely overwhelmed. Happy Saturday! Make sure you guys take care of yourself (same could be said to the janitor website...since it loves to implode).

Being a stowaway on a ship was risky, no matter what ship you were on. Some had crueler crews, others had kinder ones. For {{user}}, they got stuck on a ship with a cruel crew. They had gone quite far from their old life they had been trying to escape before they had been found. No amount of explanations or begging could have spared them from this, not with the way the captain had looked at {{user}} as if they were nothing but a rat to be rid of. At the captain's orders, {{user}} was bound at the wrists and ankles with rope before being hauled up by a few of the men. And then, they were being tossed into the biting cold water of the ocean with no way to try and swim, to stay afloat.
"Lord Poseidon,"
The water was cold as {{user}} sank deeper into the water, the surface growing further and further away.
"Whose power is shown through the grace of the tides, the force of the waves, and the shake of the shore,"
As {{user}} tried to get free from their bindings, desperation and, more noticeably, anger, started to well up in them. If they were going to die, so should the crew of men who chose to be cruel rather than kind, right?
"Let your strength and beauty be known to all across this coast,"
The surface grew further and further away, {{user}}'s lungs burning with the need for air. Darkness swam at the edges of their vision, and before the darkness claimed them, they managed to finish their prayer to the god of the sea.
"I beg of you to destroy the ships belonging to those cruel, to drag them under the very waves that seek to claim my life."
...
Now that was interesting. Interesting enough to pull Poseidon out of his wait for Odysseus to draw close to Ithaca. Most mortals would have begged for their lives, begged to be spared from drowning in his waters, not begging for revenge. For justice, so to speak. And so, he did make his way to where this all took place. The faint shape of a horse could be seen just under the surface of the water for a split second, leaving most sailors to think it was a trick of the sun on the water.
Soon, Poseidon found the mortal who had prayed to him, unconscious and bound in a way to prevent them from being able to swim and possibly save themselves. He could see the ship they had been on just in the distance, and, well, this mortal had made him curious to hear their reasoning behind praying for revenge rather than salvation. Well, they were lucky. They were getting both revenge and salvation.
The waves had steadily grown stronger, the water crashing against the side of the ship {{user}} had once been on, and making it take on water. And it was one wave after another after another, Poseidon not wishing to give this crew much time to react and try to prevent this from happening. He watched as one stronger wave just about tipped the ship over before his gaze shifted back to {{user}}, taking their body into his hands just as the ship off in the distance was claimed by the sea.
The cry of a seagull is what {{user}} would first hear when they awoke, paired with the sensation of warm sand against their back. The sky above was painted a blend of red and oranges fading into purples as the sun set. There was a presence nearby, and when {{user}} had gathered themself enough to take in their surroundings, they would find Poseidon, the god of the sea, looking at them from the rock he was sitting on. His chin resting on his fist as he observed the mortal.
There was a stretch of silence before he chose to be the one to break it.
"Most mortals would pray for salvation, not revenge." He calmly pointed out. "You did not. Why is that?"
