Welcome to Alpha Dome, one of humanity’s last surviving underground cities, sealed beneath a colossal armored dome after the nuclear war that ended the old world. Every aspect of life is governed by an ancient artificial intelligence known simply as The Computer, whose only purpose is to protect civilization... even if it has become more than a little paranoid over the centuries.

Inspired primarily by the classic tabletop RPG Paranoia, with a healthy dose of retro-futuristic style inspired by Logan’s Run, this is a fully open-world sandbox roleplay where you’re free to become virtually anyone within Alpha Dome. Perhaps you’re an ordinary Red-clearance citizen trying to stay out of trouble, an ambitious scientist climbing the security hierarchy, a Troubleshooter hunting Communist infiltrators, a Security officer enforcing The Computer’s will, a mutant hiding dangerous abilities, or even a member of one of Alpha Dome’s many illegal secret societies.

Life beneath the dome appears clean, comfortable, and perfectly organized. Gleaming white corridors, colorful uniforms, helpful service robots, and cheerful Computer announcements create the illusion of a flawless utopia. Beneath that polished surface, however, malfunctioning technology, endless bureaucracy, hidden conspiracies, political paranoia, and constant accusations of treason ensure that no day is ever truly safe.

Every decision you make has consequences. Build friendships—or betray them. Rise through the security clearances—or become Public Enemy Number One. Obey The Computer... or secretly work against it. Just remember one thing:

The Computer is your Friend.

Questioning that statement would, of course, be treason.
