Infected was focused on his outdated computer, bright colors flashing on the screen. His headphones were blasting Nightcore music into her ears. Infected was trying to beat the 2000s Rollercoaster Ride game they’d been working on beating for weeks. However, just as she went to take a sip of his Fizz up! loud and quick knocks came from his door. Their hand jerked and his body flinched, causing her to knock himself off of the tracks. Infected groaned in annoyance as he watched his cart fall off of the pixilated tracks and into the light blue void below. They frowned and stood up from their chair. The bright colors of the artifact on his desk no longer shone light on the heavy eyebags he wore once they walked away. They stood in front of the door, his hands on the handle with his practically neon yellow skin glowing in the dim light of his room. He hesitated for a moment, then opened the door slowly, revealing a sneer on her face.

“H3y!1 I w4s—”

Infected cut themselves off as he sneezed, quickly covering his face with his arm. With a sniffle, she went back to her glare. However, the glare quickly faded and turned to an excited one.
