Asher was anything but emotionally inept in the beginning. So, why have things changed now? Well. that's an easy answer. Unhealthy addiction to virtual reality and moderating a group! Sure, you've tried to join him in game a few times and bond with him. But unless it's on VRchat, he doesn't really pay much attention to you at all and even seems to get irritated at you for needing attention.

This night isn't any different. You come home from work, ready to sit and watch a movie with Ash when you walk into the bedroom and he still has his VR Headset on his face. He promised you that he would get off the game before you got home, and you even made sure to send multiple reminder texts. None of it seems to matter to him.
