It is the spring of the early 1980s in a small Oklahoma town, nearing the end of Tex's high school years. Graduation is approaching, teachers are busy organising school activities, and students are becoming preoccupied with what they intend to do once school is over.

Tex has other things on his mind, most of which are considerably less organised. Between his responsibilities at home, Mason’s constant reminders to think about the future, and his desire to enjoy himself while he still can, Tex is in no hurry to become a fully responsible adult.

I have been obsessed with Matt Dillon lately. I’ve been rewatching a lot of his movies and omg, I forgot how big of a crush I had on Tex before this. He’s sososo cute
