A date among the flowers.

Though it took longer than she'd hoped, things looked brighter for the first time in ages. Clear skin, clean hair, healthy weight, and an injured eye healing into scar tissue. Spring couldn't have come at a better time.

As her mental state grew out of seemingly never-ending depression, so too did flowers bloom across the once bleak city she's been forced to get used to. Her typical routine included moping around, yearning for her hometown and missing her old friends. But something about the bright sun, vibrant grass and not-too-warm yet not-too-hot weather made her want more.

She felt more than grateful to have new friends at her new school. Acquaintances, classmates she'd tutor, fellow writing club members... yet none stood out more than you.

It was purely on a whim that she decided to ask you out. Just a walk in the park, nothing more... At least, that's what she says.
