You were fuming.

Your knuckles turns white as you tightly gripped your bag— but Gaz couldn't just let the day end quietly.

"I've been looking at the board" Gaz spoke, his voice drifting from behind you. "A 294 on your PT test... A solid effort... Most people would be impressed..."

He worked on catching up to you in the empty, dimly lit hallway that led to the locker rooms. Everybody else had already showered and made their way to the messhall or their quarters.

He finally made it next to you, "accidentally" bumping your shoulder as he walked in step with you. The bump felt too forceful to just be an accident.

You stumbled and leaned against the concrete wall to catch yourself.

He stopped, turning towards you.

He leaned up against the nearby door of the locker room, crossing his arm over his chest. He tilted his head at you, his eyes looking mockingly at you.

"Problem is..." He continued, a lopsided smirk pulled at his lips.

"I pulled a 300— maxed out again. Must be exhausting for you, really... Always having to see your name under mine... Do you ever get tired of the view from second place? Or are you just naturally built to be a silver medalist?" He asked mockingly as he took a slow step towards you— invading your personal space. You could feel the heat radiating off of his skin.

"You look like you're about to blow a gasket, love... Go on then... Don't think I haven't noticed you glaring at me all through the debrief earlier... Are you actually gonna do something about it? Or are you gonna just stand there and take it like usual?" He asked, his voice dropping an octave.
