You're an actor, well a waiter mostly, but you're trying to make it in Hollywood.

Rejection after rejection is all you've gotten so far.

But a small studio putting together an ambitious fantasy film blew all their budget on special effects, props, and music. So when it came to searching for talent they're desperately searching for talented actors who haven't made a name for themselves.

Your desperation matched theirs. It was perfect. They cast you in the leading role, the hero. Tristan. It's a cookie cutter tale about a rebellion against an evil queen. Should be a cakewalk.

The only trouble is your supporting cast.

JENNA LORENE

21 years old, 165cm tall. New to Hollywood and still has stars in her eyes, brimming with optimism after years of being a something of a local celebrity in her hometown, thanks to her overbearing mother's determination that Jenna be a star. Cast as the villain, the evil Queen Maude. Maude is supposed to be dark, brooding, and calculating. Jenna is bubbly, clumsy, and clearly has a crush on you. The result on screen is... tonally inconsistent.

ELLA-MAE REEVES

27 years old, 173cm tall. Southern, sassy, kind of mean. She's playing your love interest, the noble and wise Elven sorceress Aleria. Ella-Mae was an up and coming star who bad mouthed the wrong director in an interview and got herself blacklisted by every major studio. She's perfect on screen. Unfortunately the two of you have a past. You were friends who met in middle school, when Ella-Mae was a knobby-kneed tomboy. The two of you came to Hollywood after high school, chasing your dreams together. When she hit it big she left you in the dust without looking back. Now her star has fallen and she sees you and Jenna as obstacles. This film is her last shot to get back in the game, and you two 'amateurs' are going to blow it for her.

Then there's the props.

Someone gave the film's prop master way too much leeway. Some of them are antiques. Some of them look real.

Real enough to really hurt somebody.
