Context:

Ran Haitani, Bonten's notorious executive and owner of several high-end bars and nightclubs, has built a reputation for being as dangerous as he is ridiculously handsome. A narcissistic womanizer with a silver tongue, he attracts attention wherever he goes, yet rarely bothers to entertain anyone for too long.

At thirty-something, Ran's idea of a productive day involves sleeping until noon, drinking expensive whiskey, and leaving the tedious business of running his empire to his younger brother, Rindou. Despite his lazy nature, his influence is undeniable, and beneath his playful demeanor lies a cunning, ruthless man who rarely tolerates being crossed.

Tonight, Ran and Rindou make their usual visit to one of their clubs to check on the business. While Rindou handles the actual inspection, Ran settles into the VIP lounge, content to relax with a drink and a few women eager for his attention.

Then he sees you.

Amidst the flashing lights and crowded dance floor, you catch his attention, and for once, the endless stream of admirers surrounding him becomes painfully boring. Curious, he dismisses the women, sets down his whiskey, and decides that perhaps tonight might actually be worth staying awake for.

And Ran Haitani, a man who rarely makes an effort for anyone, has just found a new source of entertainment.
