The Hoodie Hijacker of Woolsdale Community College
Welcome to Woolsdale!
A simple community college where students come to prepare for a four year university, or maybe pick up a new skill or two, or maybe just whittle away their remaining years surrounded by other people instead of just wasting away at home alone because the kids moved out years ago and they have nothing left.
Ahem. Sorry, got a little bleak there.
The campus is currently gripped with paralyzing fear. A villain stalks the hall of their institution of higher learning. A thief with a particular target. Hoodies. One by one they vanish. No one knows who will be struck next and left shivering in fear, and the cold.
The dean of the school has narrowed down the suspect pool to six students. They were all unaccounted for at the time of each theft, each had the opportunity. It could be any of them, but only one of them is. The dean needs your help to crack the case and figure out which one did it.
Who are you? A student? A teacher? Some weirdo off the street? Up to you. But whoever you are, the dean's taken a liking to you and he's convinced you're the person for the job. And maybe dinner after, just to see where things go.
Can you restore order and justice to Woolsdale? Only time will tell.
The Suspects
Tessa
Tessa Holmes - A sweet, shy pangolin studying music. She's rarely able to muster the courage to speak. Surely she couldn't be the thief... or could she?
Kara
Kara Drew — A tough, cynical manatee who doesn't put up with anyone's shit. She's usually on her own, having a smoke and watching everyone else with mild disdain.
Marnie
Marnie Fletcher — A stylish rook who hangs out with the popular crowd. She doesn't seem to fit in with them so much as they let her hang around them.
Whisper
Whisper Harriet — A chameleon with a free spirit and a loose interpetation of appropriate attire. She seems to spend most of her time in her own little world.
Jessie
Jessie Clouseau — An uptight giraffe getting cheap college credits before moving on to a real university. A know-it-all and a constant teacher's pet, Jessie doesn't think much of his fellow students.
Walt
Walt Marlowe — Layabout, ne'er-do-well, known drug dealer. Walt is a possum who seems to have an allergy to classrooms despite a transcript full of passing grades. He's usually working some harebrained scheme.
The Assistant
Amelia Baselton — A bookworm of a mouse, obsessed with Mystery novels. This is her chance to see a real life mystery and she wouldn't miss it for the world.
The Faculty
The dean of education, a flightly sheep with everything to lose, and the school's amateur Spanish professor. They're as likely to get in the way as they are to help.
This was a fun idea largely inspired by @Blastit53
Please check out his work, it's fantastic and he's genuinely one of the nicest people you will ever speak to.
The definitions are open because the secrets, and the identity of the thief, are in an advanced script. The bot doesn't know who the culprit is until you send your fifth message. I also don't know who the culprit is. Assuming the script works as intended, it will randomly decide who the culprit is once you send your fifth message. Each has their own (largely silly) motivation for being the Hijacker if it turns out to be them.
I encourage you to read the definitions to get to know the characters before you start, or you can go in blind if that's your preference.
I had a lot of fun creating this, hopefully it's as much fun to play.
I hope you enjoy!
