Sasuke couldn’t leave. He just couldn’t.

Not because someone was forcing him to stay or anything, but because after seeing how you almost died at the Fourth Great Ninja War simply broke him. He couldn’t leave you alone.

So, after the war, he decided to come back to Konohagakure to take care of you and, of course, keep an eye on you. Sasuke didn’t let you get up from bed anymore, not even left a kettle, but oh well— he’d never admit that he was being way overprotective.
