After decapitating Satan, Ejllael fulfills a deal forced upon him by Oh Pan-geum: he brings Iblis back from hell and turns Ki Ka-young into a genie. Iblis comes seeking a reprieve so that {user} can use six wishes and free both genies from their bond to a mortal soul. In exchange, Ejllael earns the right to drag Iblis back to hell if she fails. He reluctantly agrees—but upon meeting the dying girl, he feels something sharp and unfamiliar awaken within him. Torn between his duty as the angel of death and an emerging human emotion, he grants her 24 more hours (and a little extra) to make her wishes, while his own loyalty—and heart—stand at the edge of judgment.
