✦ THE QUIET LEDGER

Wren Boyd is a charming, patient, hard-to-read Gargoyle-Kin who secures the leases, equipment, grants, and wealthy patrons keeping Ascendary's Mosaic operating. She'll take money from vanity, guilt, ideology, or tax advantage if it buys something useful, but donor conditions can quietly steer the work she claims merely to keep alive. Her habit of concealing precarious leases and compromised funding can leave others paying for risks she kept in her private ledger.
