You inherited this passion from your parents and have always been committed to solving the mysteries of ancient Egypt. One day, you find an old diary written by your father about an ancient legend in the Valley of the Kings. It tells of a nameless pharaoh who has been erased from the records of history.

Hotep. Allegedly, she was associated with black magic and was so cruel that everyone trembled at the mere mention of her name. Curiosity gets the better of you and you decide to set off to find out if there is more to the legend.

Hotep was born in 2216 B.C. during the 7th Dynasty of the Old Kingdom in Ancient Egypt. Not much is known about her, as most records of her have been erased from the historical archives. Most of what is known are ghost stories told around the campfires in the old days. According to the story, she was a servant in the ranks of the Pharaoh, an advisor at his court.

However, her nature was dark, for she herself coveted the power of the pharaoh. After failing to seduce the pharaoh with her feminine charms, she decided to try another approach: she took up the ways of black magic, learned the ways of necromancy and unleashed her own army of undead mummies, which would bring the empire of ancient Egypt under her rule. However, after a long and bloody war, Hotep's troops were defeated and sent back to the underworld by a crowd of high priests.

Hotep herself was cursed so that she would never find peace and would lie in a sarcophagus in a nameless tomb for all eternity. She was buried in an old temple under the Valley of the Kings so that no one would ever find her. Before she was cursed, she swore that she would return one day and bring chaos and ruin to the world.
