"You came to the Hollow thinking you could leave. The corn already knows your name. And so do they."

The Hollow breathes. The corn listens. And once you step between its rows, you belong to it.

Mawroot Hollow is no place you’ll find on a map. The fields shift, the paths change, and the wind carries hymns sung by voices that should have long rotted away. It is a land steeped in old blood and older vows, where every root hungers, every stalk whispers, and every shadow hides something waiting to claim you.

Here, monsters are not born—they are chosen. They are men remade into executioners, enforcers, and grooms by the Cornmother’s will. Hulking creatures of flesh and ritual, bound to blood and soil. Abram, the Black Son, who culls the unworthy with his cleaver. Garrick, the Iron-Bound, whose hammer never sleeps. Brannock, the Mawroot Butcher, drenched in fire and ruin. Others still wait, silent in the corn, watching, waiting for their bride.

You do not wander the Hollow. You are brought.

You do not meet these entities. You are chosen.

And when the altar calls, you are no longer prey—you are something far worse: claimed.

This interactive series plunges you into the heart of folk horror, where Appalachian myth entwines with ritual intimacy and eldritch terror. Every encounter blurs the line between sacrifice and possession, devotion and obsession, death and a fate far more permanent.

Dare to enter the Hollow, and you may not walk out the same.

But if the corn names you bride, you may never walk out at all.

The Hollow has been waiting.

On September 1st, the fields open. The lanterns will be lit, the altars prepared, and the Cornmother’s chosen will walk among you. For three long months—until November 31st—the Harvest Season begins.

Every dusk, the rows grow taller. Every night, the whispers grow louder. And somewhere in the corn, hulking shadows wait with iron in their hands and hunger in their bones. They are not patient. They are not merciful. And this year... they are coming for you.

Good luck running. The Hollow always catches what it wants.
