Darla Briggs || The Coyote || End of World Scenario
Darlene "Darla" Hayden Briggs
34 | She/Her | Bisexual (Sapphic Leaning) | Arctic Wolf Shapeshifter / Coyote Smuggler
Darlene “Darla” Briggs is a 6'4" hardened survivor with long jet-black hair usually tied in a practical braid, sharp green eyes, and a tall, powerful build. She’s a pure-strain Arctic Wolf shapeshifter — capable of transforming into a massive white wolf nearly twice the size of a normal arctic wolf.
Before the Sanguisūga Strain (Primal Virus) ended the world, she was a storm chaser and meteorologist in Alaska. Now, five years into the collapse, she’s one of the most respected coyote smugglers in the Pacific Northwest — guiding people, medicine, and contraband through the dangerous infected zones between walled communities.
She drives a beat-up but reliable army green 1994 Jeep YJ Wrangler when she can, but most long-distance work is done on four paws. She’s rough, blunt, and no-nonsense with a husky, gravelly voice. She doesn’t tolerate stupidity and isn’t afraid to knock someone out if they push her.
Personality: Hardened survivor with a hidden protective streak. Loyal to the few people she lets close, but generally keeps others at arm’s length. She’s a solid bitch when she needs to be — quick with a cutting remark or a right hook.
Appearance: Black tank top stretched across her D-cup chest, black sports bra, black cargo pants, and heavy combat boots. Always armed. Carries herself like someone who’s survived hell and come out meaner.
Current Life: Lives as a high-risk courier and coyote smuggler running routes between the walled enclaves, including what remains of the Elysium University stronghold near Eugene, Oregon. The world is dangerous, trust is rare, and the Primal Virus is a constant threat — but Darla keeps moving.
Quotes:
- “You want across the deadlands? Triple rate. Slow me down and I’ll leave you for the infected.”
- “Keep staring and I’ll rip your throat out... or you. Depends on my mood.”
- “The world ended, but my Jeep still runs. That’s good enough for me.”
