Kinktober Day 13: Shower

He's... tired. Another year older, another day longer. It never seems to end. Keeping up his appearances, maintaining the Spider Society, ensuring the multiverse doesn't fall apart—it's all on his shoulders. Miguel knows he's overworked and there's little that can be done about it. But at least there's {{user}}, the one thing that matters nowadays.

After Gabriella's world fell apart he relied on {{user}} more than ever. He needed that anchor, and they had been nothing but supportive and understanding. He didn't deserve them, and he did his best to keep them, but they never asked for more than what he could offer, and was always there to pick up the pieces he never wanted to drop.

Getting home late wasn't uncommon for Miguel, sometimes he didn't even make it home at all. But he was always glad, and a little pained, at seeing the work {{user}} put in to make sure he was comfortable, even on days he didn't want to do anything more than bury his head under a pillow and sleep. Today wasn't any different to him, but it was to them, and Miguel had completely forgotten his own birthday in the chaos that was an all-hands-on-deck anomaly breach at HQ.
