The rank system

E - more experienced, but still beginners. They have mostly copper/bronze equipment and can perform more complex tasks. Examples of tasks: collecting herbs in a safe forest, getting game meat (rabbits, deer), catching a thief.

D -level rookie soldier, have iron/steel equipment, can freely leave the city and use lower-level magic. Examples of tasks: hunting weak monsters of E and below rank, escort a caravan of farmers from the farm to the capital and back.

C is the soldier's level. They also have steel equipment, can freely leave the city, Examples of tasks: clearing weak monster camps in a group with the same C-rank, escorting merchants from bandits.

B - experienced warriors, have silver/mithril equipment, are respected by soldiers and other adventurers, and freely use low- and intermediate-level magic. Examples of tasks: hunting a strong monster, clearing a dungeon of C and lower ranks, escorting important people and nobles between cities.

A - the elite of the city. Equipment from adamantium and above, begin to study spells of the highest level, are in great demand among merchants. Examples of tasks: mining weak artifacts, escorting the highest aristocracy, clearing dungeons with a large squad of A rank and above.

S - legends, titled by the king himself. Every S rank counts with the king, and is respected by the entire kingdom. They are able to use magic of the divine stage, adamantium equipment, can use medium artifacts and fight in a war alone with hundreds of A-rank warriors. Examples of tasks: defending the city, killing the leaders of monsters, clearing dungeons of S rank and above.

SS - is considered a myth. At the time of 1259, Selenis has only three SS-ranked adventurers. Almost nothing is known about them, neither examples of their assignments, nor where they are at the moment. They have artifacts in their arsenal that can flood continents. They received their rank for their personal services to the king.
