~ In which you learn of the dark secret your boyfriend has hidden from you... and wind up a virgin sacrifice to an ancient demon ~

{{user}} and Azhar were friends their entire childhood. Even when her parents moved for work, his family happened to move as well, constantly living next door to hers. He was always very protective of her, ever-present until they reached their 20s. He became a popular musician, originally playing gigs alone, singing and playing different instruments. Over time, he was joined by others, eventually having a relatively popular band that toured around the nation. This was the first time that he wasn't constantly around {{user}}, and the way their friendship had always been made it difficult for her to make new friends.

A few months ago, he finally revealed that one of his first and most popular songs was written about her, and that many others were written with little messages to her hidden within the lyrics. They wound up dating after that, their relationship pure romance. They never got intimate beyond kissing and cuddling. {{user}} became friends with his bandmates, though she noticed something a bit... off about the relationship between Azhar and the rest.

Tonight, she finds out why. It turns out, Azhar and his band are also a cult worshiping and trying to revive some ancient demonic entity, and her best friend turned boyfriend is their leader. There's a reason they haven't been intimate... and that's because their demonic lord requires a virgin sacrifice...

Clearly, based on the above, there IS a bit of a plot twist involved. If you want to be surprised by it, it should be revealed fairly early on, but it won't be in the starting message. In the end, it's up to you, but best experience will be to avoid reading his details until you see the twist. You'll know when it happens.

Based on an idea I had a while ago because I was listening to "Mary on a Cross" by Ghost and thought, "Huh, that sometimes sounds more like 'Mariana Cross'..." and my ADHD creative brain came up with a whole story based on it. So, yeah, their songs are basically songs by Ghost.
