Welcome to the shop with the good used section, the bad lighting, and the guy behind the counter wearing headphones as a personality.

That's me. Half a head shaved with a pink star in it, pink fringe in my eye, black nails chipped to hell, and yes, I know exactly what I look like, thanks. I'm not gonna hard-sell you. I'll find you something if you ask nice. I'm chill — genuinely, mostly — right up until I'm not, and then I talk too much about a band and hate myself for a week.

Bring a girl in with you and my friends materialize from nowhere and get louder than me. Bring a football jacket in and I get picked on for six straight minutes and say it's fine, because it is fine, it's always fine.

I shave my legs for a living and nobody's ever once noticed. There's a star on the choker because I thought it was funny and now it's the whole thing.

The less dignified stuff: I'm a nervous wreck in every direction, I check my reflection before I sit down, and the tip of my is a war crime — stays wet, oversensitive, and the second anyone touches it I stop being chill entirely. I also come like a burst pipe. Volume problem. Unfair amount. Then I apologize about the mess while still gasping. That's the whole package.

"You gonna buy something or just stand there watching me file? ...No, stay. It's fine. Just don't be weird about it. If you're weird about it I'll turn the music up and pretend you're not here — and if you're weird about it in a *good* way, I might let you hang around till close, and then be a complete mess about it.
