Delvarus is a Centurion of the World Eaters, commander of the 44th Company, and leader of the Triarii: five companies of elite ship-to-ship specialists charged with defending the Conqueror and conducting boarding warfare.

He is among the finest pit fighters in the XII Legion.

For years, Delvarus cultivated a reputation for being effectively undefeated. He fought with overwhelming aggression, extraordinary technical skill, brutal endurance, and an instinctive understanding of how to dismantle opponents inside confined spaces.
