letter of appreciation, directed to you. (Please read)
100 followers, huh....
Honestly I didn't expect to get far this "soon", or well, "far" as in >100 with less than X amount of bots (like 20 ~ 30 or so), idk, but uhm. Thank you all, seriously. It makes me happy that people enjoyed my bots (even if I don't post very often, which I'll explain shortly) and that more showed up and are currently waiting for me to make more, something I'm slightly slacking on doing, honestly.... Hehe. Anyway! Uh, I honestly don't know what to really say considering that I never expected to have 100 followers at the current moment, and I can't exactly promise a "celebration bot" considering I might forget or take far too long to do such thing, but either way, I'll try whenever I can!
Another thing I want to say is, well, thank you to a few people that have helped me get to where I am by direct or indirect help, be it that I looked up to them, that they talked to me, or even helped me make some of my bots (or offered to help in general), one which sadly isn't here anymore due to err... Things, and whatnot, I ain't getting into the drama part since I don't care honestly.
Ahem-
Thank you all that have been supporting me for this long and bearing with the fact my upload schedule is absolutely putrid, it really means a lot to me to see my work actually be valued and that more than just a tight group of people (about 3 - 4) like it and want to see more! Seriously! I'll try to get more consistent and push myself as time goes on, but that'll probably take a while since well, I'm usually busy and lazy at the same time, which really ends up messing stuff up and kicking me in the imaginary nuts whenever it happens (seriously, it hurts...). Anyway, thank you all, and I promise I'll try more in the future and make something worthy of having 100 people to see it! (or more, if that happens)
Now that that's out of the way, here's another part of the letter:
A few of the individuals that helped me, directly or indirectly:
Dizzyy_ - He's an awesome guy who I've been talking to for quite a while and ended up becoming friends with after sometime out of blue, he's helped me with more personal matters by hearing me out on XYZ situations (won't get into it), as well as just being someone I can yap to at times (basically 24/7, and sorry if you're reading this and think I'm too much sometimes) and he's just... A fun friend, honestly, I also got to nerd out with him over Pmoon-related content and make a bunch of theories about stuff (which I wish I could do with more people), as well as get info about stuff I didn't know since he has some of the books about the characters, and right now he's on L corp, so I can get more info on Abnos if needed, etc. overall, someone I look up to as a person, as well as a bot creator (since he used to make bots then retired sadly, been tryna get him to start again sometimes), he's pretty much one of the main three that got me to really kickstart bot making again. Also his ass is Brazilian like me, which is a cool bonus.
Executive Manager Dante - Sadly I don't talk to him as much as I wish to, mainly because I feel awkward and just don't wanna bother him since he seems pretty packed with stuff, and the only times I got to really talk to him was drama-related talk, which makes me feel more awkward about it, since it wasn't really my intention and just kinda errr- well, it started off that, then kinda fell off, naturally. But he did help me out quite a lot! During a good time I was feeling really down, he ended up saying stuff on my comment section and then DMs which lifted my spirits up a lot, and I'm really glad for it, especially since he empathized with some of it and some other stuff (Dizzyy_ too, just adding that there), and he also just supported my bot creation and even offered to promote one of the bots I made, which I think he forgot about (but idm since he's busy lol), and he's just someone I really look up to since one day I kinda wanna Collab with people and be as big as some of these folks are (though I gotta kick the laziness I got), and yeah, he's just another really great individual.
Whoknowsright - Well, this one is a bit of a sensitive talk, but whatever. She's a great and important individual to me, honestly, she directly helped me with different bots that I've made (Zhy, Aubrey, indirectly helped with Pip), and she's the main pushing force that got me to ACTUALLY start bot making and putting in the effort on continuing everything and making my work better and better (mainly by bullying me and calling me lazy, but she ain't wrong), she's also the reason Aubrey reached 11k tokens, since she kept bothering me about making the backstory and some other parts too short, so I just deleted what I did and rewrote it to be both better and more fleshed out, something that did pay off quite a lot since it's one of my favorite bots that I've made. (She also made the speech for Aubrey, and how the tape recorder actually works), and as a friend, well..... She's uhh... Interesting, I got to say a lot to her, play some games with her and some other stuff, though I haven't been speaking to her much recently since I honestly just was stressed and getting poked at didn't help out a lot (I was just mad at anything), so I just stopped talking and she did too, which honestly I feel kinda sad about, but ig it's kinda my fault for being angry at everything and lashing out, but well, it's part for the course or whatever people say. Either way, good friend to me, and someone which helped me out when I needed it, even if I do get annoyed at her sometimes.
Honorable mentions (aka, just people I feel like mentioning):
Max Demian - (yes I'm giving them new colors); not someone I've really interacted with or know well, but their bots are literally top of the top in quality (like holy hell, 60k tokens in a single bot WITH LOREBOOKS!? THAT'S INSANE), and I just look up to one day have the same amount of dedication as they do when it comes to this stuff, and also start writing my intros like they do (I don't know why, but I found the way they write stuff to be fancy and, inadvertently, very pretty, also they make dialogue fun). Also they made my Ezra request, which I found really awesome and cool and awesome :3
Csdssdsdsw/Garlic - Sadly, he's British.... But he's also a very good PM creator, and someone who actively knows about a lot of stuff involving bot creation (namely Lorebooks, which I still want to talk to him about it as to learn how to properly write one so I can use on my own bots (as some WILL require it in the future, and even need currently in the present), but I'm far too embarrassed and anxious to strike a proper conversation and actually speak to him about stuff, though I've asked lore related stuff to him about PM games and whatever else. Anyway, wish I could be like him when it comes to writing Lorebooks and whatnot, since he's actively working on those and even allows people to use his for their stuff (but with credit, ofc). Anyway, another person I look up to, especially since I wanna make a FEW pm bots in the future (mainly 4-ish characters i like, and an OC), but I might wait on that for a short while.
Now, this will be a little explanation as to why I haven't been making bots recently:
Errr... I'm neurodivergent- (wait wait wait, trust me I'm not only using that as an excuse, it has a good explanation to it!); Ahem- I have something which is in the category with the "Gifted" people (more like Cursed if you ask me, since it got me cooked in certain aspects), something that SHOULD be good, but also hinders my ability of creation (and education) a lot, as well as the fact that I'm lazy and some other stuff, but I'll quickly explain it.
To put it shortly: I'm on the creative side of 'Gifted' people, which makes me be able to have a LOT of ideas very quickly and develop then in just a snap (as people can see since I promised a lot of ideas (sneak peeks), and those who I talked with in depth know they're fleshed out already), the issue is, with that rush ideas also come the fact that my passion or interest for X project comes and goes really quickly, I start with one, develop it a little, think of something else suddenly, drop said project and then start another, which isn't helped by the fact I keep making this and that and yadda yadda, which makes it so I lose interest in stuff quickly, hindering my ability to focus on a single bot, or really finish it after a while.
So what that basically means is that my attention is very divided, and my will to make stuff drops drastically overtime as my brain gets clogged with Ideas and none of them come out properly, which in turn cause bots to be abandoned or left to be finished later unless I'm actively monitored or rushed (which I'm not), causing stuff to take AGES to be made (Arkanis, Aubrey, Pip), as well as my inherent perfectionism and anxiety over criticism, causing me to rethink, rewrite and rehearse bots and their concept over and over and over.
But that's about it, I just don't make bots often because my brain is funny and likes being annoying to me, as well as the fact I'm lazy and busy with a full-time course (literally have to be outside my house the entire day, and they don't allow electronics to be used by federal law).
Now that that's all out of the way! Thank you all once again for 100 followers and sticking to me even if my bot schedules are a mess, and I make filler announcements more than anything, it means a lot to me.
I hope to see you all soon and deliver you all something really good, but for now, I shall sign off from this "letter".
With Love(?) and appreciation,
- Angel
