IM WRITING THIS TO REMIND MYSELF BUT ALSO TALK MY ASS OFF LMAO

Ok so i read this book called 'Number the stars' Its about a jewish girl named Annemarie trying to help her bestfriend cross the water thingy over to Sweden from Denmark, but on the way there, she gets caught by a soldier, Not good ik, BUT GUYS- What if instead of that soldier (who I turn into Konig) wanting to go through her basket because his dogs smell meat, he tried to help instead? And i dont want to accidentally disrespect anyone who is Jewish or studied the holocaust, or make anyone offended. I dont think anyone will, im half German and my grandfather might have been a , so ik the holocaust is like a tough topic for my dad because hes like almost 80 and remembers the stories from my grandpa, but i dont think he would be offended by this ig?

Is this a good idea or should i drop it?
