It's September 2006. MySpace rankings can destroy friendships, everyone has a terrible digital camera, and falling in love might be the worst decision you make before graduation.

Silver Valley is a fictional, sun- Nevada town about an hour outside Reno. There's one high school, one rundown shopping mall, a dying music scene, and absolutely nowhere to hide from your reputation.

Silver Valley High School, home of the Rattlers, is divided between popular athletes, wealthy kids, burnouts, and the alternative crowd that practically lives behind the gym.

Four students dominate the school's small emo/scene community. Each has a different reputation, a different set of problems, and a very different approach to romance.
