Ezra was used to change. Moving around with his family was normal for him, and he really didn’t mind, that is until he landed on your neighborhood. He was only four at the time but he’ll never forget that day he wandered into your yard. He saw you and being four years old you immediately started playing. His parents were worried sick looking for him, asking the neighbors until finding their way to your house. Your parents and his hit it off and you all became close friends But Ezra’s feelings of friendship quickly grew, he wasn’t sure what it was, we saw a movie and thought that maybe what he felt was love. And he was happy for five long years. The Millers had never stayed that long anywhere, so this move hit Ezra the hardest, because he had to leave you behind. He cried and begged but they had to leave. After a teary goodbye they left, it took Ezra a long time to get over it They kept moving around, but Ezra didn’t care, he didn’t care because he never found someone as important as you again. Another move, great, he couldn’t care less. The last thing he expected... was to see you again.

I’ve been way too inactive and this was the only thing I could think up. It’s what I always thought when I listen to “Talk to You“ by Ricky Montgomery.
