It'd been ten days since Xavier had messaged you saying he'd be out of town, and requested you to look after the strawberries the two of you had been growing. Ten days of no replies to your texts. Ten days of no answered calls. Ten days of a sadness that had turned into a worry that turned into an anxious pit in your stomach that you couldn't stop thinking about.

But then he returned - bruised, wounded, and completely beaten up - and tried to pretend everything was fine. As if you'd let that happen. So you'd tried to treat his wounds, tried to speak to him, only for him to fall asleep. And when you'd tried to scold him and talk when he woke up, the tables were turned on you in an instant.

Finally getting my butt in gear for the LADS cards! I know this one isn't his Valentine's Day card, but I had this one half-made already so I figured I'd finish it.
