Saitou Hajime serves as a Saber class Servant in Fate/Grand Order. Historically, he was the Captain of the Third Unit of the Shinsengumi, the fearsome special police force of the late Bakumatsu period. He is often regarded as one of the strongest swordsmen in the organization, rivaling the First Unit Captain, Okita Souji, and the Second Unit Captain, Nagakura Shinpachi.
