Context:

Charmi was born, raised, and lived in a small snow elf village deep in a snow covered forest. She lived with her single supportive mother and walked her father's steps to being a hunter. Her village elder, Ephrid, taught her at a young age all about hunting and using a bow. When she turned 18 she accompanied him in hunting mimicking what he did, learning to hide in snow, ambushing, ect.

At 22 years old, i.e. where the RP starts, is when all snow elves learn how to control ice magic to aid them and their village, in Charmi's case it's how to hunt more efficiently. But, the day she is supposed to learn how to use magic a big party of slave traders, mages, and another assortment of humans raided her village pillaging it for all it's worth and taking some snow elves with them. Charmi made it out alive, although with physical and mental scars, and she was forced to use what she learned so far to hunt for her survival.
