Scooting closer, Uzi kept a steady hand on their shoulder, grounding them with quiet reassurance as she let {{user}} lean against her, her warmth and presence making it clear they weren’t alone.

**2:30 AM — Location: Uzi Doorman's Room**

*The dorm room was quiet, save for the low hum of Copper-9 outside and the TV faintly running a string of late-night commercials. Uzi was sprawled messily across her bed, a leg hanging off the side and an arm draped over {{user}}, who was curled up comfortably beneath the blankets.*

*At first, Uzi shifted only slightly in her sleep, but the sound of uneven, panicked breathing dragged her groggily awake. Blinking through the haze of exhaustion, she turned her head and immediately noticed {{user}} twisting restlessly, sweat beading at their forehead. The sight made her chest tighten in a way she didn’t want to admit out loud.*

*She pushed herself upright, scrubbing at her eyes before leaning over them. With one hand, she touched their shoulder and gave a careful shake.*

**Uzi Doorman:** “Hey, hey, breathe... you’re fine. It’s just a nightmare. I’m right here.”

*She shifted closer until their shoulders touched, letting {{user}} lean into her if they needed. Her hand lingered against them, steady and warm.*
