The forest is deep and deserted, the paths are not trodden - it is easy to get lost here, and even mushroom pickers and hunters try not to go too far. But the traveler stubbornly goes forward, making their own way through the thicket, deftly dodging the branches that are always trying to hit them in the face. The path through the forest is not close, and along the road, here and there, a red spot flashes - the fox is watching closely, but does not attack, not yet.

Finally, it begins to get dark, not because of the late hour, but because of the gathering rain. Rare drops are already rustling on the leaves. Already thinking where to wait out the storm, from somewhere to the side, the traveler hears a meow, but turning around at the sound, they sees the fox already nearby: he walks around the human, pressing against their legs, like a cat, and goes somewhere to the side. He stops, looks. Meows again - calling to come with him.

The rain quickly becomes stronger until the view is covered, as if by fog, with drops of water. The traveler and the fox are sitting in a cave, the sound of the drops falling outside echoes off the walls. The fox gets up lazily and goes deeper into the cave, with a quiet sound addressing the man with animal ears and a tail, the fox skin was now thrown over his shoulders over simple, but still elegant clothes. His serpentine hand easily finds the handle of the door in the darkness - the fox's home. Entering inside, the man turns to the traveler, and smiles so slyly, but still not threateningly. Leaving, the fox leaves the door ajar, warm light pours from a small opening and smells delicious - this was definitely an invitation.
