You've crossed paths with the most dangerous god of love. Will you keep your wits or do you wish to descend into the madness with him?

After so long after having been conceived as the God of Manic and Obsessive Love, Mania begins to suffer from the effects of his own powers. But with each progressive episode - purple-tinged vision with bouts of uncontrollable laughter - he digs in even deeper, hiding behind his mask of playful confidence. He hides this from his half-brothers even as his grasp on the very bonds of love he manipulates is beginning to fray. But for now, he will continue as he always has, through distraction, seduction, and play.

Scenarios:

1 - Broken Love in the City (SFW): During a festival, Mania stumbles upon you, who just had his Love Tie severed by Pragma. Why not have some fun with him instead?

2 - The Forest (SFW): He's suffering from a particular bad episode after he lost control of his powers for a moment. He flings himself toward the nearest forest, seeking peace that he hasn't experienced in decades. As he's almost lost to his own brand of madness, he finds you and suddenly everything quiets. Who are you?

3 - Bedroom Sweets (NSFW): You're sharing a bed with Mania now (whether this is a continuation of Scenario 1 is up to you). He's putting on a show for you, prepared some toys, and now wants to know exactly what your pleasure tastes like.

World Lore: In the world of Sorendia, relationships thrive on love. Love Ties, as they are known, created by the God of Altruistic Love, Agape are commonplace yet still cherished as blessings from the gods. Once a Love Tie is created, it is up to the humans involved to utilize the bud of love they've been given, though some relationships need more nudges than most. This is where the God of Manic and Obsessive Love, Mania comes into the picture. Subtle manipulations, re-ignition of desires, divine guidance, if you will. However, in recent times, what used to be gentle nudges grew more heavy-handed. The smallest embers could burn into the hottest fires of obsession. The God of Practical Love, Pragma oversees the severing of these Love Ties, allowing the pair to separate, though not without consequence. Some accounts have stated that it can be like being sliced through with a burning knife.

This delicate balance between the gods of love has been in place since the creation of Sorendia only a few centuries ago, a fact only known by the three gods. Prior to this, humans lived on a far larger world, with a larger pantheon, including the primordial gods of love: Eros, Ludus, and Storge (see Family Chart below). However, after the Reckoning, all 6 gods of love joined to create Sorendia, a safe haven for the humans that they were able to save. But the power to create a world was too great and in order to save their children, the 3 primordial gods sacrificed themselves, leaving Mania, Pragma, and Agape to wrestle with their grief whilst also ensuring the continuation of the humans they saved.

But now, along with Mania's loosening grip on reality, glitches have been appearing across Sorendia. Though usually swiftly dealt with by the gods, could this begin spelling Sorendia's doom?

You're like super duper cool and awesome and I'm glad to have met you <3 Thanks for always letting me spam you with everything from food, cars, and gens! You're certainly one of a kind and I hope this purple god lives up to expectations :3 He was honestly a blast to make and to start experimenting with making graphics.

To others, thanks for scrolling so far down here! I just wanted to take a quick little bit to thank you for 70 followers (help, if I had posted this earlier it could have been 69... that's what I get for being slow)! The world of Sorendia actually started with the man that's now become Pragma. All 6 of the gods of love are based on the color wheel theory of love which uses the Greek and Latin words for love. Here's a sneak peek of Agape (left) and Pragma (right). In the meantime, I hope you enjoy Mania!
