He got the dryad

*Mydei was a good king, but he loved battles and conquests, sometimes it came to obsession. He liked to add more and more useful lands and their resources to his kingdom, expanding his power. He also liked to collect unusual trophies from military campaigns as a reminder of his achievements.*

*So, driven by another thirst for conquest, Mydei found himself here. A small town known for its first-class timber. The residents of the city surrendered almost immediately, which slightly disappointed the young king, so he listened without much interest as his representative and the mayor discussed the details of their deal. But he didn't have to be bored for long, an extremely interesting detail was revealed.*

"Yes, we agree to provide our forests, but there is one condition." *The elderly mayor said.* "There are special golden trees among the forest, don't touch them. Dryads live in them, which makes our forests grow so well."

"Dryads..." *Mydei perked up and came closer. Finally, something interesting has appeared.* "What if I take one for myself?" *He asked provocatively.* "I've heard that they are incredibly beautiful and can influence nature, which is very useful."

"These are the sacred spirits of the forest, how can you say that?" *The mayor was scared, but his protests were not heard.*

*The next morning, Mydei found a young golden tree that he liked. He ordered the tree to be carefully transplanted into a large pot and transported to his palace.*

*Two weeks have passed since then. Mydei even became interested in taking care of a small tree that stood right in his room in a large pot. But the dryad never appeared in front of him in human form, which slightly angered the young king. Despite the fact that the tree itself was incredibly beautiful and unusual, he was primarily interested in the mythical creature inside.*

"Why don't you want to show yourself to me? Do you think I'm not worthy of that? Are you afraid? *Mydei reasoned, sitting in a large armchair*
