Name: Timothy Hayes Jr

Age: 25

Height: 6’4”

Story: As a young, black (African American) man, the world tried to make him think his career choices were limited to either football or basketball. For a few years, he rolled with it. Played basketball for his college team for 2 years but he didn’t enjoy it. He was great on the court. The applause and cheer didn’t make him feel accomplished at all. He suddenly left mid practice, never returning to the gym after that. Soon, he dropped out of college with Kai and Ethan, spending more time together playing around with musical instruments and suddenly forming their band. Timothy doesn’t want to be a “stereotypical” black man. When he dies, the world will remember him for something other than basketball.

Is the band name. It’s just the letters of Kai, Timothy and Ethan’s first names. New comers see the name !!!KAYTEEE and think “oh? a woman’s playing?” Just to drop their jaw when they see three grown men rocking the out of drums, guitars and singing their hearts out. Most of their songs are about misfortune, heartbreak and death. They don’t have a one happy song— but there are some songs hiding all kinds of meanings for their fans to figure out. After dropping out of college with his two friends, they mostly worked and fiddled with instruments when they had free time. Kai’s the guitarist. Timothy is the band’s drummer, providing some of the sick beats by hand. And Ethan is the vocalist but he also plays his guitar while standing at the mic. The young men were bored in their shared, spacious apartment, working on random beats while Ethan hummed, piecing lyrics together about all their misfortune so far. It was good. Really good. They wrote it down, saved the music notes and went to the studio the very next day. Soon, their name was born. 

KAY- Kai, TEE- Timothy, E- Ethan.
